The Washington Redskins selected cornerback, Adonis Alexander in the sixth round of the 2018 Supplemental Draft. Alexander played in 34 games in three season at Virginia Tech. During his college career, he had 91 tackles (56 solo), 17 passes defensed, seven interceptions, a sack and a forced fumble. Adonis is re-joining fellow college teammate CB Greg Stroman (241st Pick in the 2018 Draft) and DT Tim Settle (163rd Pick in the 2018 Draft) along with his former positional coach for the Hokies, Torrian Grey.

Including Alexander, the Redskins now have nine cornerbacks on the 90-man roster. As Training camp has officially begun, Adonis has already hit the ground running. “I am going to be working out constantly – running, lifting, conditioning, all of that” he told Perry Mattern of “It’s going to be a challenge, but I like challenges. They bring the best out of me so I am going to attack the playbook and workouts to be ready”
