On Sunday, the Washington Redsikns dropped to 1-4 on the season, losing to archrival Dallas Cowboys 31-16.

Each week the Redskins are stonewalled by a different facet of the game. The first week of the season it was the offense’s first half struggle, the second it was the defense’s inability to contain the quarterback, against the Lions in Week 3 it was penalties and turnovers and last night it was special teams.

In a game where the Redskins outgained the Cowboys by 220 yards, the game turned into a special teams ... Read More

The defensive had its most stout performance to date, limiting the Lions to only 63 rushing yards and allowing only 31 percent of third downs to be converted. The Washington Redskins had a spirited crowd yesterday at FedExField for the 2013 season opener, but an early deficit was too much to overcome as they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 33-27.

The game was a tale of two halves, as they struggled against the Eagles offense early and couldn’t garnish enough yardage on drives to gain first downs. In the second half, however, the Redskins dominated time of possession and scored the final 20 points of the game.

The lone bright spot from the first quarter came courtesy of veteran cornerback DeAngelo Hall. On ... Read More
