    Darrel Young, also known as DY, had an interesting up and coming when joining the Washington Redskins. He didn’t initially make the roster in 2009 as a rookie linebacker. As a result, he worked that season at Foot Locker hoping for another chance to accomplish his NFL dreams. His chance came in January of 2010 when he re-signed with the team and was converted to fullback.

    In February Washington Redskins signed 8-year NFL Vet, Ricky Jean-Francois, to a three-year deal.   • Redskins Players & Staff Join Forces With "Fear 2 Freedom"

    One hundred and fifty packages in thirty minutes. That’s 150 opportunities to change the life of a child or adult affected by sexual assault, domestic violence or sex trafficking.

    On Monday, June 15 the Redskins hosted a Fear 2 Freedom (F2F) care packaging event where current players, rookies, and staff members gathered to help out. Kits were assembled that held clothing, a diary, toiletries, a “Freedom Bear” and, most significantly, a personalized note from the creator of the kit.
