    WOW is bringing you Thrifty Thursdays to teach you how to showoff your Redskins pride WITHOUT breaking the bank!

    This week’s Redskins DIY creation was inspired by a photo we found while surfing Pinterest. With summer finally upon is, it’s a way to spice up any bar, kitchen or tailgate area.

    First off, you have to get the right pieces:

    - Wall mounted bottle opener
    These can be found through online shopping or at a local hardware store. Make sure it comes with screws and washers for the wood. Apply using directions given in each kit.

  • Redskins Players & Staff Join Forces With "Fear 2 Freedom"

    One hundred and fifty packages in thirty minutes. That’s 150 opportunities to change the life of a child or adult affected by sexual assault, domestic violence or sex trafficking.

    On Monday, June 15 the Redskins hosted a Fear 2 Freedom (F2F) care packaging event where current players, rookies, and staff members gathered to help out. Kits were assembled that held clothing, a diary, toiletries, a “Freedom Bear” and, most significantly, a personalized note from the creator of the kit.

  • Two Redskins Appear on NFL Top 100

    The votes are in! Players all around the NFL voted on the Top 100 players in the league. The Washington Redskins had TWO offensive powerhouses appear in the Top 50!

     

    #50 is wide receiver DeSean Jackson

     

    Last year, Jackson made his appearance at No. 63 on the NFL Top 100 as voted by his peers. In his single season with the Redskins, he has moved up 13 spots and led Washington with 1,169 receiving yards on 56 receptions during the 2014-15 NFL Season. Jackson also recorded a team-best six receiving touchdowns.

    Several Redskins players helped to run a football clinic for the Dreams for Kids DC (DFKDC) foundation. Together they practiced everything from a simple catch to running routes and even punting and kicking!
