Last week, the Washington Redskins were proud to announce Morgan Moses as the 2015 recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award.
The Ed Block Courage Award honors “players who exemplify commitments to the principles of sportsmanship and courage” (http://edblock.org/courage-award/). Not only that, but the award reflects recognition from teammates. Each NFL team determines their recipient by voting for which of their peers they feel best embodies these qualities. Recipients of this esteemed award become “Ambassadors of Courage for victims of abuse, violence, and neglect” (http://edblock.org/courage-award/).
Morgan Moses was the 66th overall pick in ... Read More

This #motivationalmonday spotlights Redskins FB Darrel Young and his commitment to one injured teammate.
During the 2015 preseason opener, TE Niles Paul suffered every player’s worst nightmare- a season-ending ankle injury. Paul being put on the injury reserve list was both a blow to the team’s offensive strategy and a saddening loss of a good friend on the field.
When Paul hit the turf and failed to get up, Young stayed by Paul’s side until he was carried away on a cart. The fullback has described his relationship with Paul as “more than football for me…Niles ... Read More

A new Season begins, time for new beginnings!!! What are you doing to get yours??? And are you ready??
There are a lot of parallels I can draw within the NFL game, which I know we all love.
For one, In the first game of the season, we saw Tom Brady start not only a new season, but he did it in new light. As a man vindicated by a Federal Judge for his role in 'DelfateGate'.
Brady was named the 2015 SuperBowl MVP, but all of that was overshadowed this off-season ... Read More

Goldson labels himself as an “enforcer” – The type of play he modeled after Redskins ... Read More
