  • Redskins Players & Staff Join Forces With "Fear 2 Freedom"

    One hundred and fifty packages in thirty minutes. That’s 150 opportunities to change the life of a child or adult affected by sexual assault, domestic violence or sex trafficking.

    On Monday, June 15 the Redskins hosted a Fear 2 Freedom (F2F) care packaging event where current players, rookies, and staff members gathered to help out. Kits were assembled that held clothing, a diary, toiletries, a “Freedom Bear” and, most significantly, a personalized note from the creator of the kit.

    The votes are in! Players all around the NFL voted on the Top 100 players in the league. The Washington Redskins had TWO offensive powerhouses appear in the Top 50!

     

    #50 is wide receiver DeSean Jackson

     

    Last year, Jackson made his appearance at No. 63 on the NFL Top 100 as voted by his peers. In his single season with the Redskins, he has moved up 13 spots and led Washington with 1,169 receiving yards on 56 receptions during the 2014-15 NFL Season. Jackson also recorded a team-best six receiving touchdowns.
