  • Redskins Host Special Olympics Flag Football Kick-Off

    For the fourth year, the Redskins Charitable Foundation has sponsored the flag football league for the Special Olympics of Virginia. This event kicked-off the season, and invited athletes to Redskins Park to participate in football related drills and activities to introduce them to the sport.

    Thanks to a partnership with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, volunteers and the entire Redskins rookie class invited youth athletes to the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park for the Dreams for Kids Football Combine where those in attendance rotated through six different activity stations guided.

    Training Camp has finally arrived! Here are some things to know if you are attending training camp at Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center:

    •             To enter, Fans must sign up and present their FREE Mobile Fan Pass

    •             Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during practice, overlooking the practice fields. No bleachers are available on-site.

    •             Food and beverages will be available for fans to purchase

  • Rookie Rundown: Redskins Sign CB Adonis Alexander

    The Washington Redskins selected cornerback, Adonis Alexander in the sixth round of the 2018 Supplemental Draft. Alexander played in 34 games in three season at Virginia Tech. During his college career, he had 91 tackles (56 solo), 17 passes defensed, seven interceptions, a sack and a forced fumble. Adonis is re-joining fellow college teammate CB Greg Stroman (241st Pick in the 2018 Draft) and DT Tim Settle (163rd Pick in the 2018 Draft) along with his former positional coach for the Hokies, Torrian Grey.

     Jonathan Allen and Ryan Anderson have been having fun during their first offseason with the Redskins.

    Last week Allen traveled back to his alma mater as he and his longtime girlfriend Hannah Franklin got married. They exchanged their vows at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Tuscaloosa and had their reception at Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium. Ryan Kerrigan’s Blitz for The Better Foundation, Nick Sundberg’s Loads of Love with the Redskins’ Charitable Foundation, and Vernon Davis’ Foundation for the Arts, are some of the few charities the players are involved with.

  • Trey Quinn as Mr. Irrelevant

    In this year’s draft, the Redskins acquired the final pick of the draft, known as Mr. Irrelevant. They selected wide receiver Trey Quinn from Southern Methodist University. Originally a transfer from LSU, Quinn made a name for himself by posting 114 receptions, 1,236 yards and 13 touchdowns in his lone season for SMU. Before his success in football, he also threw a no-hitter in the opening round of the 2008 Little League World Series.
