WOW's November Ladies Night Out event was a night to remember. Taking place on Veteran's Day, more than 200 ladies made their way to Redskins Park with non-perishable items and donations to be used in care packages going to troops overseas with help from the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation.
Ladies also took the time to write letters to soldiers to be included in the packages while dining and stopped by our #RedskinsSalute table to participate in the Who Do You Salute photo sweepstakes.
But that wasn't all that Ladies Night Out had to offer!

We measure a player by what he does on the field come game day, but his worth is really what he does off it. While the Redskins may not be off to the best of starts, in my book there are a few players that are winning regardless.
Thursday night at the Italian Embassy, the 6th Annual Becky's Fund "Walk This Way" event was held. An event that I had the honor of emceeing for a forth straight year and one that featured professional athletes, including some Redskins players, turned runway models!

WOW sat down with Krissy Green, Founder of the local Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation, to talk about more about their mission to create and send meaningful carepackages to soldiers overseas.
What was your inspiration in starting the DJGMF?

Was there anything that surprised you ... Read More
