In order to provide as many toys as possible, the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation teamed up with the United States Marine Corp and their Toys for Tots charity.

On Tuesday, December 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. our Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Macy's teamed up in order to donate 300 coats, scarves and hats for underserved youth this winter.
Mrs. Tanya Snyder, wife of owner Dan Snyder, assisted the children in selecting their coats and writing "Believe Letters" to Santa.
Macy's "Believe" campaign encourages children to write letters to Santa using their Santa Mail Letterboxes. For each letter mailed in store, Macy's will donate $1 up to $1 million, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation is looking for outgoing, energetic, and passionate individuals to help raise funds for the Charitable Foundation by selling 50/50 Raffle tickets during the Redskins vs. Eagles game on December 20, 2014.
Volunteers would be asked to volunteer from 12:30PM to the end of the 1st Quarter.
Parking is included. All volunteers will be given a ticket to enjoy the rest of the game at FedExField.

One of the main goals of our Women of Washington organization is to serve our community in any way possible.
This season with the help of our members, we have been able to accomplish activities ranging from helping to create care packages for soldiers, raising money to fight breast cancer, helping feed those less fortunate on Thanksgiving, and many more!

On Tuesday, December 2, our Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation teamed up with the Heart of America Foundation to participate in their READesgin of the library at Leckie Elementary School.
The renovation effort consisted of a small stage build for live storybook performances, the installation of a new interactive projector, new tables and computer stations, fresh paint and inspirational decor, as well as a new reading corner. Last year the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Redskins staff and over 500 volunteers assembled and distributed Thanksgiving food baskets to feed more than 3,500 families from Prince George's County.
At this year's event on Tuesday, November 25, the organization hopes to reach even more!
Since its creation in 2003, the Redskins have donated just under 1 million pounds of packaged and fresh food as well as almost 500,000 pounds of turkey to local families in need.

Redskins Park has seen it's fair share of special visitors, but yesterday was one to remember when a local girl scout troop from Balls Bluff Elementary School arrived.
Embarking on monthly trips to local businesses to learn more about various professions, the girls came out to Redskins Park to find out what work goes on behind-the-scenes for an NFL team.

This Sunday, November 16, the Redskins will take the field against the Buccaneers in their annual #SaluteToService game. Throughout the month of November, 32 games will be played in honor of American servicemen and women, past and present. For each point scored, the NFL has been donating $100 to each of its military appreciation partners-the Pat Tillman Foundation, USO and Wounded Warrior Project. To date, over $200,000 has been raised this season.
