Rocky McIntosh has spent the past six seasons wearing burgundy and gold. Drafted out of the University of Miami in 2006 and recording a career-high 110 tackles for the Redskins in 2010, the linebacker finished off the 2011 NFL season with 65 combined tackles, one sack and one pass breakup. While Rocky is currently a free agent, we don’t think is the last we will see of the McIntosh’s in the DMV.

More than 1,000 underserved youth in the D.C. metro area received a toy for the holidays at the Skins Santa Shoppe Monday Dec. 19 at FedExField.

WOW's founding members including Tanya Snyder, wife of Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder, and Kiersten Allen, wife of General Manager Bruce Allen, led 50 deserving children from Thomas Pullen K-8 Arts Focus School through the Redskins Hall of Fame Store at FedExField on Thursday, Dec. 15 for a holiday shopping spree.
Each child received a $150 gift card from the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation to purchase holiday presents from the Hall of Fame Store, where all items were discounted 50 percent during the shopping spree. WOW hosted its first Holiday Party Thursday, Dec. 15 in the Owner’s Club of FedExField. Members were invited to celebrate the holidays with Redskins wives and girlfriends, take an all-access tour of FedExField and finish that holiday shopping with a discount at the Redskins Hall of Fame Store.
Mrs. Tanya Snyder, wife of Washington Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder, and Kiersten Allen, wife of General Manager Bruce Allen mingled with WOW members and took plenty of photos!

Erik Cook, Nick Sundberg, Byron Westbrook and Will Montgomery attended the Kids Club Holiday Meet and Greet Monday, Dec. 12 at the Glory Days Grill in Broadlands.
Kids Club members were able to get autographs and pictures with the Redskins players. The party also included arts and crafts, food provided by Glory Days Grill and of course, a holiday raffle!

WOW joined the efforts of more than 400 volunteers to help distribute Thanksgiving food and say thanks to the residents of Prince George’s county, the home of the team’s stadium since 1997.
Redskins owner Daniel M. Tanya Snyder, NFL spokesperson for Breast Cancer Awareness and wife of Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder, accepted the American Cancer Society’s Impact Award on behalf of the National Football League Thursday, Nov. 10 for their efforts towards Breast Cancer Awareness.
A breast cancer survivor herself, Mrs. Snyder has been active in several NFL breast cancer awareness initiatives. She teamed up with the Zeta Tau Alpa (ZTA) sorority in 1999 to create a national model for the THINK-PINK!® breast cancer awareness and education campaign throughout the NFL.

Running back Tim Hightower and his mom, Nikkie, had a busy afternoon at Steuart W. Weller Elementary School Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Along with running backs Ryan Torain and Roy Helu and fullback Darrel Young, the Hightowers presented a $10,000 NFL Play 60 grant to the school to go towards health and wellness programming and equipment.
Hightower spoke to the students about the importance of good health. Along with his teammates, he also led the “Ultimate NFL Physical Education Class” as part of the NFL’s Play 60 campaign to help get kids 60 minutes of exercise a day.
