    Lashawn Hatcher was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 31. She was declared cancer free in May 2008 after enduring radiation therapy 5 days a week for 6.5 weeks. In February of 2010 she developed a recurrence of breast cancer and had to undergo a mastectomy.

    Why Lashawn is an “All-Star Survivor”- Now 38 years old, Lashawn has not let her breast cancer hold her back. She wishes to share her testimony and first hand experiences with the disease in order to better help women who are currently undergoing treatment.

    Gena Hortz was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2014.

    What being an "All-Star Survivor" means to Gena: "It means conquering something I did not even know was on the radar of things I would battle in my life."

    Gena's advice for women: "You are never too young to do self-exams, you must be your advocate."

    Gena reminds women that, "even if cancer is not in your family history you could still be at risk. Most cases do not have a family history."

  • Alfred Morris Joins NO MORE Campaign Against Domestic Violence

    The NO MORE campaign launched as a way to unify support for greater domestic violence and sexual assault awareness in an attempt to galvanize towards progress. Today, every major domestic violence and sexual assault organization in the U.S. participates in the campaign.

    In 2013, The Joyful Heart Foundation, an organization involved with NO MORE and founded by Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay, released a series of public service announcements staring all well-known celebrities.
