    Dry Needling is an invasive technique used by physical and occupational therapists to treat acute and chronic pain, and rehabilitation from injury with very few side effects. The technique uses a filament needle, without medication or injection, which is inserted into areas of the muscle known as trigger points.     Shambley, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, had no family history of cancer. In January 2009, while watching television, she discovered a lump the size of an extra large egg protruding from her breast. After receiving a diagnosis of Stage 3A triple negative breast cancer at Walter Reed Hospital where she works, Shambley began chemotherapy to shrink the tumor.     Our next special WOW survivor spotlight features Sharon Chapman, 67, a financial advisor and tax accountant from Arlington, Virginia. Chapman, a mother of two and grandmother of five, had no family history of the disease and was diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer in June 2005 via mammogram.
