Muscular soreness typically peaks 24-72 hours after activity. This is the result of small, safe damage to muscle fibers and is called Delayed Onset Muscular Soreness (DOMS).
During this time, your muscles may be tender to touch and feel tight and achy. Movement may initially be uncomfortable but moving and gently stretching your muscles will help to decrease soreness.

We now have two players to watch! Alfred Morris will join tackle Trent Williams in Arizona next weekend as a Redskins Pro Bowl representative for the 2014 season.
The National Football League made it official on Monday that running back Alfred Morris has been selected to the 2015 Pro Bowl in place of Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy. The annual contest of the NFL's best will take place Sunday, January 25th at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.

Saturday afternoon the Redskins Indoor Training Facility was transformed into the ultimate Fitness Party venue! Over 100 women took the practice field to participate in a half-circuit, half-Zumba workout and ring in 2015 with a new, healthier outlook on the year.
Nike and Celebrity Trainer Deanna Jefferson led the ladies through an intense warmup and a few tough circuit drills to get heart rates up and incorporate strength into the routine.

The Washington Redskins teamed up with Inova Blood Donor Services to host the Hometown Hero Blood Drive at Redskins Park in Ashburn, VA, on Saturday, January, 10, 2015. The indoor practice facility was transformed into one of the area’s more unique blood donation centers. All of the blood collected in the effort will be supplied to local hospitals in the Northern Virginia area.
