Allison Bender found a breast lump and went to her doctor on May 7, 2014. She had an ultrasound and mammogram done on May 28th and then a biopsy done on June 4th. Allison received the call for her diagnosis on June 6th.

Dellamarie Albi was diagnosed with breast cancer in April of 2014.
What does being an "All-Star Survivor" mean to Dellamarie: "Surviving is an amazing gift! Being acknowledged by the terrific Redskins Organization is a welcome surprise. I have been given the opportunity to re-evaluate my life’s choices and renegotiate them if I so choose."
For Dellamarie, surviving meant being able to spend more time with her family. Especially her two grandsons, Reilly and Aiden.

Brianna Russell was diagnosed with breast cancer on June 11, 2014.
For Brianna being an All-Star Survivor means: "I am a survivor because there is simply no other option."
She warns that age is not a factor. She advises, "You are never too young, energetic, beautiful, or too anything to be affected by this horrible disease. Please take care of your health and be proactive with self-exams."

Wendy Bhagat was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of June of 2014.
When asked what being an "All-Star Survivor" mean to Wendy: To her, being an “All-Star Survivor” means having the opportunity to help others through the process of navigating breast cancer from the diagnosis through treatment options and eventually to the recovery process.
Wendy's advice for other women: "Know that you are not alone. Talk to others who are going through or have been through the process. It helps."
Wendy wants to be able to help other women in any way possible!

Carolyn Davis had her first mammogram in August of 2013 and was under a year later on April 13, 2014. The doctor saw something on her first mammogram and ordered a sonnogram, which showed nothing. To be safe Carolyn was ordered to have a check-up every 6 months. However, Carolyn moved at the end of August 2013 and the reminder for her January check-up was not forwarded to her new address. The Washington Redskins on Monday hosted the Seattle Seahawks for a primetime game at FedExField.
And while wide receiver DeSean Jackson brought the fireworks, linebacker Ryan Kerrigan added to his league-leading sack total and quarterback Kirk Cousins tossed a pair of touchdown passes, the Redskins would fall to the Seahawks by a final of 27-17.
