The Redskins were left without one of their top offensive weapons for the season after tight end Fred Davis suffered a season-ending Achilles injury at the end of October. This magical Washington Redskins season continues.
The Redskins went into Philadelphia and defeated their rival Eagles 27-20 Sunday to extend their winning streak to six games and set up a showdown for the NFC East Division title next Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
A win, and Washington (9-6) has its first NFC East title and home playoff game since the 1999 season. A loss, and the Redskins would need help from a couple other teams to make the playoffs as a Wild Card.

About six weeks ago, the Washington Redskins had hit their lowest point of the season, having lost to the then 2-5 Carolina Panthers 21-13 Nov. 4 at FedExField to fall to 3-6 on the season.
