To Marcy being an "All-Star Survivor" means: "Happy to be cancer free and to be able to start treatments to prevent the spreading of cancer."
Marcy's advice for women: Mammograms are very important. Especially since there are no lump symptoms with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ).

Laurie Strollo was diagnosed with breast cancer on March 11, 2014.
To Laurie being an "All-Star Survivor" means: "A combination of things: 1) first and foremost, being lucky to have caught my cancer early at a stage that I could be cured. 2) Having the determination to fight through the process and to make treatment decisions that made sense for me."
Laurie's breast cancer was caught early through her annual mammogram screening and she warns all women to make time for theirs!

Michael and Dawn met 1995 as students at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. Michael, a defensive back for their football team, held an "A" in their Astronomy Class while Dawn was sitting with a "D", a fact he was constantly teasing her about. Being an "All-Star Survivor" is important to Sharon because: It makes her feel special and has given her something to look forward to: meeting the players!

Do you have any advice about Breast Cancer Awareness: "Do what you need to test and detect early. Connect with other survivors and if diagnosed, take advantage of support available. Try to live in the moment and not obsess over the thing you can't control."

To Abby being an "All-Star Survivor" means: "It means knowing your risks, taking proper precautions and most importantly, taking care of yourself both physically and mentally (pampering is never a bad idea!)"

What does being an "All-Star Survivor" mean to Mary: "Being chosen as an 'All-Star Survivor' has really brought to the forefront the difficulties of a breast cancer diagnosis and all that is involved in treatment and recovery. I truly now feel that I am a survivor and it has been a rough road, but I did survive! When I was selected for this event my 16 year old daughter said, 'Mom I am so proud of you!'"
