    Darrel Young, also known as DY, had an interesting up and coming when joining the Washington Redskins. He didn’t initially make the roster in 2009 as a rookie linebacker. As a result, he worked that season at Foot Locker hoping for another chance to accomplish his NFL dreams.     On Saturday, August 8th the burgundy and gold collided with their rival, the blue and silver. However this wasn’t an NFL showdown of the Redskins and Cowboys, it was a championship match-up between the D.C. Divas and Dallas Elite of the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA).

    The D.C. Divas stomped out the Dallas Elite for a WFA National Championship win, 30-26!

    On Tuesday, August 11th the boys and girls of the Redskins Kids Club held their very own VIP Tent at Redskins Training Camp!

    It was a day of raffle prizes, giveaways and free food catered by Papa John’s Pizza!

    After watching the single practice of the day, the group gathered in a Kids Club only autograph shoot located right outside of the Bon Secours Redskins Training Camp building. Many of the Redskins players stopped to sign everything from footballs to wall hangings!
