  • Redskins Players Give Back

    10.19.2015 / Blog Posts Redskins

We're #motivated by Redskins players that give back! TE Niles Paul suffered a season-ending injury during this year’s preseason, but he’s putting his time off to good use.

Paul, along with RB Silas Redd, visited The Children’s Inn at NIH in Bethesda last week looking to brighten the day of some young Redskins fans. Residents of The Children’s Inn are research participants at the National Institute of Health, and their contributions are impacting people’s health worldwide.

The Redskins players were eagerly welcomed at the Inn. Paul and Redd toured the facility, signed autographs, took ... Read More

    By Deanna Jefferson, CPT.

As fall creeps in and warmer temps creep out, it seems easier and easier to hang up those warm weather fitness habits in the closet with your swim suits and beach bags. Yes, going to the gym as it gets colder outside is not as easy as staying wrapped up in your warm bed---but you'll be glad you did. If drearier weather makes you lose motivation in the fall, here are some great tips to help avoid derailing months of healthy habits.

  • Career Corner: Mentorship, Mentorship, Mentorship

    10.13.2015 / Blog Posts

It probably can't be stressed enough - mentoring is vital to any professional's path to success. Who better to have as a resource to your career, than a person who has already experienced all the highs and lows in the business?

Before venturing into any profession and even while in the midst of your career (believe me it's never too late for a mentor), finding those individuals to guide you through the challenges will make your work not only better, but easier.

Think of mentorship as a team sport. Did you know that many female executives tie their ... Read More

  • A Fan From Afar

    10.12.2015 / Blog Posts

This #MotivationMonday, we’re focused on dedication and commitment! One Redskins fan embodies these two words.

Darren Coutts is as big a Redskins fan as any in the DMV area…except he’s from Aberdeen, Scotland! It wasn’t until the early 1980s that the NFL was broadcasted in the UK, and Coutts was instantly hooked on the league. But it’s not easy being a fan from afar. While everyone in the US gathered around their TVs to watch Super Bowl XVII, Coutts was glued to his radio to listen to the Redskins bring home victory.

Coutts’ commitment to ... Read More
