The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, led by Dan and Tanya Snyder, and the American Cancer Society Friday evening hosted the inaugural Sack Cancer Gala at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Va.

To Abby being an "All-Star Survivor" means: "It means knowing your risks, taking proper precautions and most importantly, taking care of yourself both physically and mentally (pampering is never a bad idea!)"

Mary Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2014.
What does being an "All-Star Survivor" mean to Mary: "Being chosen as an 'All-Star Survivor' has really brought to the forefront the difficulties of a breast cancer diagnosis and all that is involved in treatment and recovery. I truly now feel that I am a survivor and it has been a rough road, but I did survive! When I was selected for this event my 16 year old daughter said, 'Mom I am so proud of you!'"
