Aside from fitness, traveling is one of my most favorite things to do. Oftentimes vacations or travel for work can be the excuse we need to fall off of our workout regimen. Here is my cheat sheet for ways to continue working out while on the road.

- Use a firm mattress instead of a soft mattress
- When sleeping on your back, put a pillow underneath your knees
- When sleeping on your side, put a pillow between your knees
- When sleeping on your stomach, put a pillow underneath your pelvis
- When getting up from bed, roll to your side first, drop your legs over the edge of the bed, and push up with your arms.
- To get into bed, move from sitting on the edge to your side, and then roll over to your back
After weeks of reading through a tremendous number of entries and hearing from so many of our members and the passion they share for the Redskins, we finally came down to one entry. While it was extremely difficult, our panel of judges voted on the top 50 entries and we found that this story really captivated a number of them. They overeat during the holiday season, and then they want to lose some weight when the New Year starts. For the third consecutive year, Redskins safety Dashon Goldson brought extra holiday cheer to 50 underprivileged children with his annual event, “Goldson’s Gift Giveaway.”
The event was hosted at a Walmart in Dulles, Virginia, and included special appearances from his teammates. Almost all of the Redskins secondary was in attendance, showing the team’s comradery and respect for Goldson.
