On Monday evening, the Women of Washington gathered at The Gryphon located in Washington, D.C. to kick off the 2016 NFL Draft. The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders also co-hosted the event.
Over 150 excited WOW members anxiously waited outside of the private venue for the party to begin. At check-in, every guest received a raffle ticket and access to the VIP WOW area for members only. Guests enjoyed complimentary appetizers such as ceviche and chicken and waffles. The drink menu gave women the option to enjoy some drink specials.

On Saturday, April 23rd, Women of Washington hosted an Ultimate Fitness Bootcamp at Sport & Health Brambleton. WOW members spent their Saturday afternoon training and working out with Celebrity Nike Trainer and Health and Fitness Expert, Deanna Jefferson and her team of trainers as well as trainers from Sport & Health. The event also featured a special appearance by Chelsea Collective, a women’s boutique for athletic apparel.
