    Kelly and Logan Paulsen

WOW is getting to know the Team behind the Team and next up is Redskins Tight End Logan Paulsen's other half, Kelly.

These west coast natives happened to grow up exactly five minutes away from each other, about 25 minutes outside of Los Angeles, and began dating in high school! Kelly sat down with WOW to talk about missing California, riding horses, iPod favorites, and that time Logan accidentally pranked her Mom...

How did you and Logan meet?
We have actually known each other since middle school. In middle school Logan was extremely shy. I ... Read More

  • Commonwealth Orthopaedics: Knee Pain in Children and Adolescents

    11.19.2013

    AP PHOTO

We see a number of young patients every year with Osgood-Schlatter syndrome because it is one of the most common causes of knee pain in children and teens, affecting 1 in 5 adolescents. Osgood–Schlatter disease or syndrome (also known as tibial tubercle apophyseal traction injury) is a rupture of the growth plate at the tibial tuberosity. The syndrome may develop without trauma or other apparent cause; however, some studies report up to 50% of patients relate a history of precipitating trauma.

  • WOW Gives Back on Veteran's Day with The Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation

The ladies of the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation

Ladies Night Out fell on Veteran's Day this year and it wouldn't have been complete without commemorating our armed forces.

To thank our troops overseas, WOW members came out in full force on Nov. 11 with hundreds of non-perishable food donations and care package items to send to soldiers currently deployed. Before we knew it, women were bringing in bins upon bins and event backing their cars up to the Redskins Indoor Training Facility to unload all their supplies.

WOW wouldn't have been able to support such a ... Read More

  • Redskins Comeback Falls Short Against Eagles

    11.18.2013 / Blog Posts Redskins

    Stephen Czarda, Redskins.com

For the second time in three seasons, the Washington Redskins were swept by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Redskins made it tight at the end, but the early 24-point hole was too much to overcome as they fell 24-16.

Offensively, the Redskins were led by running back Alfred Morris in the first half as the sophomore carried the pigskin 18 times for 85 yards. It was the most carries he’s recorded in any half through the first 26 regular season games of his career.

While Morris was churning yards and moving the chains, the passing game ... Read More
