The Washington Redskins on Sunday fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a final of 27-7.
On offense, running back Roy Helu Jr. scored his first receiving touchdown of the season – and first since his rookie season -- in the second quarter, as he took a pass from quarterback Robert Griffin III 30 yards to the house.
The Nebraska product finished the day with 6 receptions for 57 yards.
Alfred Morris, meanwhile, recorded a season-high 96 rushing yards and Griffin III – who made his first home start since Week 2 – connected on 23 of his 32 pass attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown.
On defense, linebacker Keenan Robinson paced the unit with 7 tackles and 2 passes defensed. Barry Cofield Jr. – making his return to the field after being on short-term IR – and rookie linebacker Trent Murphy each recorded sacks as well.
The Redskins travel to San Francisco this weekend to take on the 49ers. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. EST on Sunday.
