The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Macy’s teamed up to donate 200 back-to-school outfits to underserved youth from the Richmond, Va. area at “Redskins Back to School Shopping Spree presented by Macy’s” in Short Pump Town Center in Richmond on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Mrs. Tanya Synder, Peggy Shanahan, Kiersten Allen, Christal Golston, and Redskin players Alfred Morris, Darrel Young, Niles Paul, Chris Baker and Joshua Morgan served as personal shoppers to children in need from Blackwell Elementary and Carver Elementary School as they helped pick out a new oufit for the school year.
Students also recieves a backpall full of new school supplies courtsey of Staples for Students, a program dedicated to preparing underserved youth for an amazing school year.
