According to the University of Illinois, there are approximately 350 million Christmas trees growing on U.S. farms. Last year, 30.8 million of these live trees were purchased at an average price of $34.87. 

So what do all these numbers mean? Well, not too much, other than to show the evergreen business—like its name—is a booming one.
