Tell your kids to grab their running shoes and get ready for their adrenaline to start pumping. The Marine Corps Marathon, alongside The Washington Post, will host their annual “Healthy Kids Fun Run” this Saturday in Arlington. Kids, ages 5-12, will get their daily dose of exercise by running a one-mile course around the Pentagon North Parking Lot.

The “Healthy Kids Fun Run” started in 2000 to help promote a positive experience with running and to keep kids motivated to be healthy and active. Twelve years later the event has gained the largest number of participants yet, with 3,600 kids from over 300 local schools. Click here to read more.
